| Tapestries contrast with the geometrical pattern of Kilims, because they are designed as pictures representing places, nature, scenes, or even people. The weaving technique is used, but also other techniques and materials with different textures and effects, relating to the subject of the picture and the mood of the artist.
The subject of my recent works has focused on the sea, rocks, plants and mountains of the Island of El Hierro. |
