| Many people are interest in making a piece of creative tapestry, but are deterred by long introductions to weaving techniques and design. I offer a practical workshop for those who would like to experiment with various different simple techniques, and then to create your own piece of tapestry to take home.
We will work on a horizontal hand-loom (as shown in the picture) using natural yarns - wool, cotton and linen. |

| The workshop is 20 hours in duration, arranged flexibly to fit in with your holyday in this warm Spanish Island.
The workshop is open to all, and is particularly suitable for women traveling alone. We can help to give you contacts and further information about travel, holiday accommodation and activities on El Hierro, known as the smallest, least 'touristy' and most tranquil of the Canary Islands. |
